| For Sale: 1996 Volvo 850 GLT.Clean Titleleatherice cold a/chot heaterBrand new batteryNew front tires back tires are 1.5 years old and still in great conditionThe Bad: front bumper was in a fender bender from previous owner. I never bothered to fix.glove compartment doesnt close. Needs a new latch. Cheap junk yard part.Radio and a few other electrical systems have a short in it. The car drives but dies after about 100 miles. Everytime it happens I recharge the battery or jump start it and it drives again. It could be the short or the alternator. I replaced the battery and it wasnt that.The odometer reads 203k miles but stopped working. It has an extra 1-2k miles on it. It broke in september and I stopped drivng it 3 weeks later. About the same time as it broke the short happened and i stopped driving itI havnt driven it since september. Its just been sitting in my yard and I would like to get rid of it. The miles are all highway. I drove this car daily to school while I went to USC and subsequently for work where i drove it all over california arizona and Nevada to make contacts for my business. I never had any problems until september and serviced it every 3k miles. Just started it up today and drove it around town. Should be an easy fix for someone who is looking for a cheap car, a mechanic or a car flipper.
